Jim uses the exquisite Roland KF-90 digital piano for his live gigs.   This keyboard-piano uses an 88-note Progressive Hammer-Action for more dynamic performance and nuanced touch.  It harnesses stereo-sampled piano sounds and over 600 instrument sounds including 16 drum kits.

 

 

For amplification, Jim uses the Roland KC-550 speaker amp.   The KC-550 is Roland's flagship keyboard amplifier and boasts 180 watts of powerful sound via a 15-inch speaker and horn tweeter, allowing the artist to produce a deep and rich sound at even lower volumes for those quieter venues.
